Why I created Rouge Garance, my background and my vision

Fashion has always been a passion of mine. Much more than just clothes, it tells a story, reflects a personality, and transcends time. I began my journey selling jewelry, where I discovered the importance of craftsmanship and quality. But something was missing: the desire to go further and offer clothing that combines style, ethics, and sustainability.

The idea for Rouge Garance began to germinate two years ago. I had this desire to create a project that reflected me, but it took me time to mature and bring it to fruition. What really triggered it was an awareness: fast fashion is everywhere, with clothes often produced in questionable conditions and with poor quality materials. I wanted to offer an alternative: more responsible fashion, made in Europe, with natural materials and pieces designed to last.

Rouge Garance is, above all, a commitment to more thoughtful consumption. Each garment has been carefully selected from brands and designers who share these values. My goal isn't just to sell clothes, but to support those who want to rethink their way of dressing, by focusing on timeless, high-quality pieces that are made to last.

Beyond the commitment, it's also a very personal adventure. By launching Rouge Garance, I decided to trust myself and embark on this wonderful entrepreneurial adventure alone. Managing an online store requires time, discipline, and a good dose of versatility, but it's a challenge I embraced with enthusiasm.

I hope you enjoy Rouge Garance, that it inspires you, and that it guides you toward a more conscious and elegant fashion. Thank you for being here and for being part of this wonderful adventure!

See you soon,

Berenice

PS: For the record (and because I get asked this question a lot!): my sister's name is Garance, and I chose this name for her. Madder red is also a beautiful shade of red, a bit like navy blue... and I liked this nod to my sister! 😉
